Brad (18) joined after gaining his Level 3 Engineering at Southampton City College. From age 15 he has rebuilt classic motorcycles. He and his dad realised they couldn’t source original parts for the bikes and started making their own… and Brad’s interest in engineering was born. Now he owns six bikes, including four classics.
Ryan (19) arrived from Walsall College in the West Midlands, although he now lives locally. His engineering interest started in a lunchtime club at his secondary school, where later it became a mandatory subject.
Both apprentices are now on day release training at local colleges.
